Events and Performances
At the core of Xiaopei Chinese Dance is our mission to nurture a greater appreciation for Chinese culture in the Tri-Valley community and beyond. One of the ways we do this is through our performances. Our performances range in size from local community events to globally broadcasted celebrations. We hold each performance to the utmost importance and uphold the highest standard to ensure a memorable quality demonstration every time. Every year we hold our own showcase where our students proudly share their art to friends and family.
Community
Throughout the year we take part in numerous local performances celebrating Chinese culture and artistic expression. A notable few community performances we participate in are the Dublin Splatter Festival and annual Lunar New Year celebrations all over the Bay.
Annual Showcase
Every spring we host a showcase of all the dances our students have worked hard on to show to friends, family, and community. Programs range from solos to duets and trios to group dances. We ensure through every detail that our showcases are of the highest quality. Our showcases are acknowledged and appreciated by representative individuals across the Tri-Valley, many of whom come to enjoy our artistic presentations every year.
Major Events
Xiaopei Chinese Dance has had the honor to perform in numerous major events broadcasted to audiences worldwide. We have participated in the San Francisco Lunar New Year Parade and performed as their opening dance in 2025 and 2026. Since 2024 we have performed annually at the NBA Lunar New Year Halftime Show. Other notable performances include the 2025 San Diego Zoo Panda Ridge Opening Ceremony and the 2017 Spring Festival Gala.
